Advice From a New Jack Russell Terrier Owner
Someone named Kumu over at Associated Content has posted an article entitled "Are You Thinking of Getting a Jack Russell Terrier?", which presumes to give real-life perspective to prospective Jack Russell Terrier adopters.
There is no doubt that advice from the owner of a breed you're considering adopting is valuable. I would caution prospective adopters of Jack Russells, or any breed, that one person's experience with one dog can never tell the whole story on a breed.
I have always heard that Jack Russells were a challenging breed, and the stories presented in the article go along with that assumption. They are diggers and keen hunters.
In case you arrived here searching for information on this intriguing breed, here are a few resources to check in addition to the interesting article at Associated Content:
- Jack Russell History and Info from Wikipedia
- Jack Russell Terrier Information from DogBreedInfo
- First Hand Breeder Experiences from JackRussell.net
